Each year Essendon Netball Club seeks to acknowledge and recognise the achievements of individuals who have excelled in their netball journey, or contributed towards the betterment of our club. The following awards are presented at our annual Presentation Event.
Written submissions can be made by any nominating party (full member, Head Coach, Team Coach, Committee Member) outlining the candidate's suitability including evidence/examples, and provided to the Essendon Netball Club Committee for consideration
The nominating party may be invited to a committee meeting to advocate on behalf of their nominee
The committee will follow up each nomination with its own investigations, assessment and detailed discussion
The full committee will vote on all awards, having given consideration to the information received, and the criteria upon which the awards are initiated
If a committee member is nominated for an award, they are prevented from voting in said award
If a family member or partner of a committee member is nominated for an award, the committee member is prevented from voting in said award
To be voted by the committee with a single vote given to each member. If single voting results in a tie, all committee members will re-vote using the 3,2,1 system
All nominations and written submissions must be received by the Secretary by the closing date, to be eligible to receive said award
