The Essendon Netball Club (formerly Windy Hill Netball) was founded in 1994 and is proud of its long standing affiliation with the Essendon Football Club and its commitment to ‘strengthening communities’. With a particular focus on the development of junior players, the Essendon Netball Club provides a pathway into representative netball via the Essendon District Netball Association's (EDNA) Essendon Thunder program.

The Essendon Netball Club JUNIOR TEAMS compete in the Essendon District Netball Association, located at Riverside Golf, Tennis and Netball Centre (Ascot Vale). Competition is played on Saturday afternoons and teams from under 9’s to 17’s/Opens play weekly from March to August and September to December.
Training takes place at Aberfeldie Primary School, Ramsay Street, Aberfeldie.
The Essendon Netball Club SENIOR TEAMS compete at Parkville (previously known as the State Netball & Hockey Centre) Brens Drive, Parkville on Monday and Thursday evenings in the Parkville Netball Association.
